Today is one of those hot days where you know that the night will hold the heat and the sticky sweat from the air that was precipitated during the afternoon, the only place you want to be is in front of the refrigerator.
Melting moments seemed an appropriate afternoon treat, dissolving shortbread, I made these so they were sharp with lemon and a powdery sweet icing.
J1 created some cocktails last night - they had an equal nip of gin and amaretto, with crushed ice and lime served with freshly shaved coconut. No name yet but I am sure he will think of something.
