Saturday Visits
G and N came up to visit this weekend. We went to Breakfast at Gus's in Civic and met up with friends. Dexter was a hit with the kids and P showed us his newly acquired kids skills (soon to be a dad in March 2006) by taking the kids and dog for lots of walks. I had the eggs benedict, the kids had pancake stack with strawberries and J1 had the big benny - eggs benedict and a big breakfast all in one - not suprisingly he didn't eat again till dinner. It's funny as I can't image N not being part of G's life as they get on so well together (and at least he politely laughed at our jokes and put up with our poker playing and daggy singstar festivities)

It was also K's 65th birthday on Saturday. We went to visit to present the present in the afternoon and have cake from my favourite lunchtime coffee house - the flute in Fyshwick. Mum and Dad were under the weather from the virus 'some' of us have had during the week. First one for summer! Dad suffered through the 'berry tart' but hopefully they can enjoy the left overs today when they feel better.

We had organic green chicken curry for dinner - I also added to the basic green curry paste, kaffir lime leaves, curry leaves and garnished with thai basil leaves and coriander.
