J'3 received an award at school assembly last week for maths 'she did some good counting in 10's' said her teacher. We wanted to go out to a special Japanese meal today to celebrate this but the Japanese don't seem to do lunch on Sunday. So we went to Carlo's in Watson, it was surprisingly good, JD had bruschetta with veal, caramelised onions and sun dried tomatoes and I had salt and pepper squid salad. The kids of course had scrambled eggs from the brunch menu.
S and I have started playing Lord of the Rings Online together, its been great as most of the other MMO's get a bit hard by yourself after awhile, he gave us his old computer which now after the second time in the shop is fully functioning and really is as the shop guy suggested 'a rad gaming machine'.
