Sweets for Mothers Day
J3 had her 'learning journey' on Friday, her Kindergarden class has an open day where we got to see what she had been up to for the year, they had been drawing, colouring, smartboarding and using the computer. She was all puffed up and proud, bee like showing us, her brother and Goong Goong around the busy classroom. It really was lovely. What was interesting is that she is now starting to sound out words and write them by herself, well done little one.
I have been busy playing Guild War's (thanks S) its been fun, a bit odd as looking forward to get a rest from my kids, I seem to be playing with other people's, when they ask for ASL (Age, Sex, Location) I usually try and avoid the question with an annoying LOL (laugh out loud) and move on to next quest. Yeah all a bit dorky but you know whatever /shrugs.
A book trilogy we have gotten lately is 'His Dark Materials' by Phillip Pullman. Its about a girl called Lyra and her adventures, she lives in a parallel universe to ours. Some interesting ideas, I think its been banned in America as it's quite anti-religion.
We have also signed up for a family tree website called Geni which you can put information on your family and relatives check it out on Geni we have 63 people noted going back 7 generations.
Its also Mother's Day today - happy Mothers Day to all my friends who are mum's, as well as my own. Lots of love Mum. We had a quick visit and chat this morning and it was nice to catch up with what's been going on.
