Last weekend we went to Sydney too catch up with some of J1 old friends from TAS. We also had a great time at S and D's and at one of the nearby parks on Saturday. Saturday night we ate at little Italian restaurant on Parramatta road.
J1 and I have know each other for 18 years now and things don't often surprise you about someone you have known for that long. Meeting people in your partners past does put a spin on things, it either reinforces a notion you may have had about that person or floor's you with the unexpected. I always thought J1 was pretty cluey but after meeting the 'old boys from his maths class' I now know he 1. is or 2. isn't. I guess it's all a matter of comparison.
