J1 cooked a delicious risotto with the left over roasted vegetable we had from the Anzac day picnic. We had caramelised onion, feta and pumpkin pizzas, ham and cheese pizzas (made by W), roasted vegetable and crouton salad, pesto pasta salad, rollade of lamb and olives and poppy seed muffins.
J1 also managed to get J4 and J3 to eat green vegetables by creating a face using carrots for eyes, shredded beans for hair, cheese nose and mouth. Thanks for that - he makes things like face dinners, traffic light forks and mezze of beans - lots of portions of 1 baked bean on a cube of toast, which I am supposed to emulate. Not likely to do that, I have found that if you give J3 (the fussy eater) less on her plate, say 3 filled pasta shapes she is more likely to eat it and have seconds, than presenting her initially with a bowl full of pasta.
Congratulations to L and Pon having E (photo above) a few weeks ago and JB and A on the birth of their son O last weekend.

I have to give credit to Mike for making the caramelised onions, roasting the pumpkin and obtaining the cheeses.
Thanks Mike !
